Max Zorin’s second start of the season took place last week at the Chester Festival when he lined up in the Listed Dee stakes over a 1mile and 2 furlongs. He was sent off as one of the outsiders at 25/1 however in his usual fashion he ran a brilliant race.
He broke well and raced keenly however coming around the final bend he was still in front and looked like he was going to cause a serious upset. For a long time, he looked like the winner however in the final furling he was just headed by Coolmore’s Derby hope Cliffs of Mother and Godolphin’s runner Bay of Poets.
Yet again Max Zorin gave us all a great and exciting day out.
