Chelsea Thoroughbreds Guineas Festival Bus Bar 2018

The Guineas Festival couldn't have brought better weather with it and with the Chelsea Thoroughbreds VIP Bus Bar back in action, there was plenty of socializing to be done. With the Pimm’s, Rose and Champagne flowing, it was an even bigger success than last year, and it was good to see so many people attend over the weekend.

On 2000 Guineas day (Saturday) the Bus Bar was in full flight and with the sun beaming down on everyone there was a great turn out. We were also lucky to be in the prime position overlooking both the paddock as well as pre-parade ring which gave people the chance to watch their fancied horses go out onto the track. The reserved VIP area for Chelsea Thoroughbreds owners included the upper deck of the London Bus as well as a private area, with sofas and tables on the lawn.

It was certainly a fun weekend for everyone involved and with the first two Classic's (1000 and 2000 Guineas) of the year being so open, it was interesting to see which champions came out victorious. They were of course, Saxon Warrior trained by Aidan O’Brien and Billesdon Brook, trained by one of our very own trainers, Richard Hannon. Now that the season has really got underway, we look forward to the many other events we have to offer our owners on the Chelsea Thoroughbreds calendar, as well as plenty of action on the track!
